I'm now moving into my last day in the Big Bandwagon, at long last. However the voting goes, I get out tomorrow and can return to my old forums and conversations.
Unfortunately, at the precise moment when this grand occassion happens, I will be in New Orleans and will not be able to get on line.
Uh-oh. You know you're an h2g2 addict when...

Dear d'Alaphant and Zeppo, I saw the message that you had written to Amy the Ant - liked your nom de plume and then went to your home page - loved your graphics and your journal entries so decided to drop by and say Hi. I hope you do not mind. I think you are so fortunate to go to New Orleans. That is one place I would love to go to. I have a lot of reading to do so must not linger longer. Kind regards AR1

Oh! You left a note here 2 weeks ago and I just noticed it! Thank you for dropping by - I've enjoyed reading your messages on Amy's page too.
I need to go back to New Orleans some day. I wrote that entry nearly a year ago, and I was only there for 2 days. It is a beautiful city with wonderful food and friendly people (and lots and lots of tourists).
