Flying Betty- Now with added nickname tag!

The aftermath of Hirricane Ivan hit Central PA in the form of a lot of rain, and for every stream and river to flood all over the place. Me, idiot that I am, of course felt the need to go swimming in the parking lot.

Swimming in parking lots! Wahoo! I wonder if I would get in too much trouble skinny dipping in the streets...

*swooshes most of flood over to Australia*

Well, you always hear about public streakers, but not public skinny dippers. Too bad I was fully clothed for this little jaunt.

I don't think it worked, we have had more sun today than we have for a while

Either that or it takes a few days to take effect

Yes 7000 odd kms as the crow flys

its 37 cms on my map and 5 cm = 600kms so 1 = 83km so 32 * 83 = 2656 but thats directly as the crow flys and not taking curvature into effect its probably about another 1000 od km if thats to be taken into effect

Or how about if the crow flies directly through the earth? That would cut off quite a bit of distance.

Actuly no it wouldn't really, the crow would have about as much distance to travel. As a direct path to say Atlanta International Airport from Sydney is 3300 I belive, and from Perth its a bit less, I shall have to go look it up to satisfy my curiosity. It was 987 to Osarka and from there 1287 to London so these are pretty acurate guesses.

Ah, Hartsfield, that booming metropolis of international flights. I am overcome by hoards of memories from each of the million times I've been to or flown through that damned place. We did pick up my Kamilla at the cargo part of Hartsfield, once upon a time, but that's two miles away from the actual airport. Airports are horrifyingly gross. LaGuardia and Frankfurt are the only two airports I've ever liked and LaGuardia is the most amazing...wow, I'm really on a tangetizable mood.

Oaska was werid, Tokoyo was alful, Sydney is just big and complicated, and don't get me started on the baggage system at hethro, let me just say that the "I am so worried" song does have a point.

Yeah, baggage claim is hell. I'm not worried so much about the luggage as worrying I can't resist the insane urge to jump on the baggage trolley and ride it around.

Oh we just made it very easy to spot ours, used big bags, with lots of stuff in 'em.

We put those lovely neon case straps and huge neon tags on them. Very tacky, but very handy.

Bloody rain would really screw up your soil. Sheesh, just look what bloody rivers did for the Egyptians.
