At the moment, I am quite destressed by the thought of a war, I mean, I dont really pick up most of the news, but this is hard to miss. As I see it, there are three arguemtns:
1. Go to war?
2. Go to war without UN backing?
3. Listen to a damn word the people of the country say?
Very few people seem to want this war, and the fact that Tony Blair is willing to go ahead anyway seems to show me that thre is something fundamentally wrong with the political system. Unlike many countries, Britain, as far as I know, has very few official safeguards, e.g the actual right to free speach, or equal rights, People assume these rights, but do we really have them? I mean, technically, doesnt Tony Blair have supreme control? If he wanted could he not do whatever the damn well pleased? I'm not sure, I'm a bit hazy on this, but apparently, we have to (to use a phrase i dont really like) constitution.
I'll stop whittering now
Peace always. if you want peace, prepare for ___?
I think
If you want peace prepare for peace.

I don't think Blair actually can. He has to have the votes behin dhim from the Commons and the Lords. And even then the Queen can overrule him. Democracy? Elected head of state? Hah! "God save the queen/the fascist regime".
BTW, blapshemy is illegal - material breach of articles 18 and 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. http://www.un.org/rights/overview
