on friday, having just arrived home from france, i went to bed, to go to sleep, as i had no sleep on the bus.

i slept for a full 30 mins before i woke up.

as i moved my foot i felt a tugging sensation on it. i fugured it had bee caught in aq spring or something, and moved it. i then looked at my foot, and there was quite a deep cut in it.

there was blood all over the place.

i had almost lost my little toe.

it was only later i spotted the peice of broken glass.

i now have to walk with one side of my foot raised, or my cut starts to bleed, and be in immense pain. again.

i am just glad that i did not lose my toe, as someone has told me that if you lose a your little toe, you have to learn to walk all over again.

Life's a bitch.

(Anyway, I think you're okay losing the little toe, it's the big one you have to worry about. There, isn't that cheering? )

hurrah. well, it has mostly healed, but im amazed it took so long.

Hmm. Well, I got bitten on the hand by an Australian a few years ago and it took about four months to completely heal.

I dread to ask, but why were you bitten by an australian...?

It was such a long time ago I can't exactly remember, but I recall she was of an excitable temperament. (The situation was not nearly so, um, interesting as the one you're probably visualising.)

i can imagine how something could lead to a slap, or a punch, but a bite? interesting medium.
