removed my long entries because i was sick of scrolling through them. i'm not sure why i needed to bother to see the bottom of my space... i guess it's sort of like how you want to be able to see your feet when you look down. whatever. i kept the watch one because of the reference to skinnydipping.
still very pleased with myself for my work on the radio last night. i did a short jazz set all by myself in which i played some songs i genuinely liked. a john coltrane version of Nature Boy, a cool song called Murfy, i forget the band... i also really loved playing the jazz arrangement of satie's gymnopedie no. 1, which i think was also in the Royal Tenenbaums... happily my mentor dj is going to dub me a cd of last night's show which i am sure i will treasure. as a bonus a couple cool people from my printmaking class were listening and they thought i had a good jazz radio voice. so i take it that means it's sultry and sexy. what a relief! at least when i am a disembodied voice i have some appeal. makes sense in a way. yes, about any format where i don't have to look you in the eye and speak to you really enhances my charm, i find.
