Yep, I'm back on the radio! It's hospital radio mind, but it's still a show. I'm thinking of taking home a recording of my shows and letting others listen, but it is a classical music show so it might not be for everyone

Force them to listen! A friend of mine is on community radio, and her show always makes me laugh. I hate the music but still like to hear her chattering away.

I've applied to the local community radio station and am awaiting a reply. If they don't get back to me I'll go back to the other one I was involved with but left because of all the bitching. Luckily the troublemakers have gone! It's a shame the hospital radio station doesn't have a streaming facility as we're very popular with our listeners, but once they've been discharged they can't hear us any more

They need to get sick more often. Good luck with the community radio.

That's great to hear Fords. I'm on 2RPH in Sydney (they DO stream on the interweb) reading the Sunday Telegraph every fortnight. I'm due to train as an "announcer" in the near future so that I can run some of the programmes. 2 indicates the radio station is in Sydney and RPH stands for Reading for the Print Handicapped. A lot of our listeners are blind or can't see to read. I haven't been doing it long.

Sounds great Vestie! I've been told I should volunteer for the same sort of thing but the groups are inundated with people wanting to do audio books. Bad for me, good for the blind though
