So far I've managed to wangle two months of free broadband and a £5 credit on my mobile bill smiley - biggrin

smiley - cheers

I'm not so good at that myself. I've never really managed to squeak my way into getting oiled, even when I was obviously deserving.

I managed to wangle £40 PM off my gas/electric bill last time I tried to explain to them how there job works.... I somehow got my monthly mobile phone bill down by £5 per month, to just £14 when I added* unlimited broadband to my contract smiley - huhsmiley - erm
But... they got there own back when I foolishly spent more on repairing my tumble dryer than a new one would have cost smiley - snorksmiley - doh some you win... smiley - dohsmiley - run

I wonder if your mobile phone/broadband provider is the same one I work for? They give you a £5 monthly discount too smiley - bigeyes

OK then. Here's the situation. My daughter's limo didn't turn up to take her to her (and me and 5 bridesmaids) to her wedding on Sunday. It was booked through Limo Brokers. When we phoned desperately trying to find out what was going wrong the individual limo owner said that he'd told the brokers that his car was off the road and that they needed to get another. I've phoned them but they are reticent to phone me back!

I'm looking for money back plus compensation. Any thoughts would be most welcome on this...

Well the agreement was with you and the limo broker, so I'd automatically assume that the broker is at fault because they didn't inform you that the driver didn't have a car ready for you. I'm not too sure how it would work exactly, but have you phoned your local CAB? They're pretty awesome when it comes to consumer rights smiley - smiley

CZ: I think that's quite a sad story for all parties involved. The repo men could have waited!
