h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Going alright. Nobody told me we don't get tutorials in the first week here, so here I am, presenting myself for further learning opportunities, and nobody's there. Ah well, gives me a chance to catch up with h2!

So far, the course sounds great. Two lectures in and I'm still here, must be a good sign Only niggle - being such a seasoned student, I don't like all this intro stuff, I just want to get on with the course and not muck around, but I suppose it's a sure sign of my 'maturity' within the educational field. Ahem.

I'm still contemplating whether or not a postgraduate course someplace nexr September is a good idea, but as to what and more importantly where I have no idea.

I've actually grown quite used to the sort of thing I'm doing at the moment and wouldn't mind continuing either where I am or someplace else on something other than gap year wages.

Why not do something this year like work experience or even travel for a bit, and if you still feel like doing the postgrad course, go for it?

I am actually considering a few months of travelling once I've got enough cash from working at the hospital school until June/July. One man and his duck

I advise everyone to do a bit of travelling - one of the best things I ever did was to get out there and see a bit of the world.
