Children's and Ancient Technologies Camp
Zarquon's Singing Fish! Started conversation Aug 27, 2001
I've recently been on a Children's and Ancient Technology Camp. It had a real community feel about it and I learned a lot - including flint napping. There was a rites of passage for children about to enter adulthood, which was interesting. It involved a vision quest and the children had a lot to go through, including a sweat lodge and staying out in the forest alone and surviving an intense thunderstorm.
I think we need things like this for our kids.
