I'm planning on going to Paris in September for a week because I've never been, but I'm a bit worried as my French is verging on non-existant and everyone says Parisans like trying to run over tourists.

I got on alright in Paris. My French is rubbish, and I can't understand French when it was spoken to me, but at least I tried. Most people speak enough English for you to get by, and the traffic is quite quick, but I didn't feel as if they were going for me!
