Here's the thing. I'm over on Gosho's Journal reading the Marxist humor thread (Oi Gosho! If all proper is theft, is all theft proper ? and if so, does that mean a hardline commie can get a brew any time and anywhere?).

I clicked on Reply and, much to my amazement, ended up in Google.
The URL for the reply space copied itself, somehow, into the Google toolbar which I have tacked onto IE.

I have no idea how this happened.

I have no idea why.

I wonder if it will happen again?

I've had something like that happen before, but not I think from a link. A Google search appeared when all I was doing was entering a url in the address field and hitting 'Go'.

I can't log on at all in IE; I have to use my faithful Phoenix (which has its own googleplatz up at the top right hand corner).

In IE I look at my space, "Hello Unknown Visitor, sign in?" yes please, logon page, type type type enter, "Returning members, sign in?" yes please, back to the same logon page with blank spaces

Sounds like you have it set to not accept cookies from sites you like. You can fix this by buying a gun, baseball bat or reciuting Ohms Law in a quiet, threatening undertone into your computer's USB ports.

Ohm's Law... is that V=IR, or is it the one about the party of the third part and there being no sanity clause?
