I saw this shortly after it happened - final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. So now I'm just using h2g2 as a chat room to keep in touch with friends I've met here who - so far - have not started their own blogs.
No point in getting involved in a heated and possibly interesting debate if it's just going to get shut down . . .
