So it came to pass that on the Sunday of 25th of May, 2003, the Dundee Hurricanes travelled to Glasgow to face the Tigers. Many had predicted that Dundee would cruise through the game as they had beaten Edinburgh by 42-0 the week previous, while the Tigers had struggled to win the game against Edinburgh three weeks earlier.

Dundee were also the team to draw first blood, after the Tigers opening drive had stalled and they were forced to punt. Dundee connected on a looooong pass for a score to lead 6-0. HOwever, the Tigers never gave up, and at half time, they had evened the score at 12-12 after a TD run and a TD pass from the Tigers and a blocked punt recovered in the Tigers end zone by a Dundee player.

That was the final score of the day for Dundee, though, while the Tigers started moving the ball in the second half, scoring on a short TD run and successfully running the ball in on the following 2-point conversion.

After that, the Tigers never looked back, the defense shutting down the Dundee Offense, while the Tigers O moved the ball well in the last quarter and was about 6 inches away from another score, but the Dundee defense held firm.
On the following drive, the Hurricanes went pass-happy and moved the ball down to the Glasgow 15-yard line, however they ran out of time and the final score was Glasgow 20 Dundee 12.

That measn the Tigers now have a 2-1 record for the season.

Coincidence?

Hmmm... Could've been a coincidence.. But I think not...

That sounds suspiciously like a coincidence to me...
