Just got a mail telling me that I had a couple of posts edited. I think it's beacuse I had spelled out the whole word "s**t" in the posts, and the Mods hadn't gotten round to editing it before..
I think it's a bit unnecessary to get a mail about it if they intend to send one every time they edit something in one of your posts. Especially since it's in a conversation that hasn't been active for about 2 years. Ah well.. Such is life, I presume...

I got a couple of them from a couple of years back too! And one of them was a convo I was in with you

I got two of them about a couple of posts from convos I had with you at my old User ID.

yep ditto, I'm still going through some of them checkingw hat the hell they're on about. (Sorry mods if you have to edit that one!)

I think it's just a matter of us not editing our words ourselves. Like for instance the word "Sh*tfaced" and "Sh*t" for instance.
I dunno..

well we'll see if that's enough in 2 years time

Crikey, the mods are really going mad with it, aren't they? I also got an email re a journal entry from a couple of months ago. I expect more, as I've also used the S word a few times.

I know, it's mental editing such old posts, what is the likleyhood of people seeing them so late on?

But what if some sweet and innocent 12-year-old (who probably says worse things than s**t in the playground) stumbles onto this site?

Or maybe we're the ones expected to behave like good little children. Just a thought.

Then what is the likelyhood that they will go to a conversation, start at the beginning of some that are thousands of posts long, read them all and be disgusted by such a simplistic word they probably use on a secondly basis?

Who knows?

Ach well, they can edit old posts, not like we have to re write them ourselves
