We in America have a very interesting situation on our hands. McVeigh, the Oklahoma City building bomber, is about to be executed for his heinous crime. This is all wrong. We should slap him into a maximum security prison with "friendly" inmates where he can be some serial killer's b***h. He wants to die. Why should we give McVeigh what he wants? Isn't punishment supposed to do to you exactly what you don't want?
Furthermore, by killing him, we're making him a martyr for his idiotic cause. He'll become the Jesus Christ of terrorists, and every June 11, authorities around the world will have their hands full of copycat crimes (the Oklahoma City building was bombed on the anniversary of Waco). We're just digging our own graves here, people. Isn't Democracy fun?
