I can't believe Douglas Adams is no longer with us. someone ICQ-ed me the link to the news article, and I was totally flabbergasted. I've always been a massive fan of the man and his work, and I've been looking at his work some more recently, leading me to sign up for H2G2.
In fact, just recently I bought a Commodore 64 which came, inexplicably, with a pristine C128 version of "Bureaucracy", Douglas' second text-adventure for Infocom. I can't play it, but I guess I'll track down a web-based version to check it out sometime. I've no doubt, that, like everything else he did, it reeks of genius.
I really miss you, DNA, even tho I never had a chance to meet you. At least you had the chance to inspire, inspire me, inspire thousands, even millions. Thank you. Your legacy will live on.
