They CAN Take It With 'Em!

Okay, so I STILL don't know who 'they' are...but I found out some of 'them' really CAN take it with them when they go!!
My father's been in a Veteran's Nursing Home since 1996. I built a log cabin & moved out here in 1997, from my father's home where I'd been caring for him for several years. When I moved, I brought my dad's washer & dryer with me. Sunday, Oct. 7th at 6:00pm my dad died. At 6:10pm the washing machine overflowed & buckeled the floor in the laundry room, my bathroom & the place between the kitchen & the livingroom. THEN,at 6:30pm the dryer stopped! Never to work again!
Also, my daughter, who lives in dad's house(not a biological daughter...she choose me to be her mom & later we found that her dad had been my very 1st boyfriend!!! Somehow she landed in MY home all the way from HER home in Germany when her dad died...oh, I inhereted 5 grandchildren too 
) So, at 7:00pm
Deborah calls to say the pipe to the water heater broke & the basement was flooding, the toilet was over flowing & a gust of wind blew the gutter off the front & South side of the house!
Does anyone think these are JUST an "oh well" situation? Or do you think 'Mean
Papa Cerlan' took it with him?
