h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Seeing animals in their (natural?) habitat, doing their thing is like winning at bingo. (How would I know - I've never played bingo). I saw a mother mink today. I took the scenic route home and she stopped on the path just in front of me. She seemed completely unfazed and I wondered for a minute if she'd run up and bit me on the ankle :D Actually, she was wondering if her babies, who were making clicking noises in the undergrowth, should cross or stay where they were. In the end, she went and collected one and the other one followed her across. Wow!
