I'm just tired most of the time. But it's finally nice and sunny outside, so I can't complain. I'm going to take my babies home soon, and when we're done with what we HAVE to do, I'll take them to play in the park. Hopefully this weather will hold for a while.

Nice in the garden, too. We have done two hanging baskets. One pansey and another trailing primrose.

It was glorious yesterday afternoon, 15 degrees Celsius, nice and warm. Maya was wearing an actual t-shirt, and although she didn't appreciate the sun in her little eyes, she seemed to enjoy the warm weather and wasn't her cranky little self (she's teething, again smiley - groan). Ryan was quite happy too. Sadly, I couldn't take them to the park as we were waiting for our shopping to be delivered. Today it's cold, miserable and foggy...smiley - erm
Guess this is England for you.

We have cleared out the greenhouse, taking the pots out and placing them around the garden. We discovered a mouse nest, which we disposed of. We are getting ready for the tomato plants which a friend is giving us. I have clipped the top branches of the cherry tree. The apple tree still looks bare, but will start to blossom soon. The roses are still in the pots, but are looking nice and green and healthy. We mowed the lawn and have nice stripes up and down it. The front was a bit dry, surprisingly, but we have watered around the clematis.

You must have a well-loved garden. My back yard is small and has more weeds than grass. It's another beautiful day outside and I might just take a few minutes to trim my roses in the planter, I think they've made it through the winter. It also needs a good clean of the flagged area. We're going to replace the grass with Astro-turf (I'm allergic) and put a little playhouse outside for the kids.

An American pro football player was asked did he prefere grass to astro turf. He replied he'd never smoked astro turf.smiley - rofl

smiley - laugh Me neither. But then I never smoked grass, either. There used to be this old saying "don't step on the grass, smoke it" back in the days of my youth, but it seems to have disappeared now. Personally, just the smell of the thing makes me smiley - ill (we have lots of dope'eads around) so smoking doesn't seem appealing.

I have never taken drugs, smoked or injected or pill form. It is something I do not approve of it.
I gave up smoking 27 years ago, and have never missed it.

We are having friends for Good Friday and on Saturday it is My girlfriend's daughter's birthday and we are all going out somewhere.

I have bought my dear lady an Easter Egg, it is dark chocolate, as she is not allowed to have chocolate as she is a border line diabetic, but can have dark chocolate.

Hope you have a happy Easter

We have blossom on the pear tree and have planted wisteria to grow up through the cherry tree. There is also a clematis which we want to grow up through the apple tree. The red and yellow tulips are looking colourful amongst the bluebells and daffs. The seeds have taken in the greenhouse and the rhubarb is looking healthy. We have figs coming too.I have mown my own lawn and I am going back to Colleen's now.

Who's Colleen?smiley - bigeyes

Your garden sounds lovely. Ours is full of nettles and a cypress tree. I also a small rose bush fighting for its life in a planter. We really need to mow than lawn.
