h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

jus thought i'd share my fabulous wiv ne1 bothed 2 read this (ie no1!). jus spent 2 weeks studyin wildlife by the black sea & it was really interesting and exciting. got to c& handle lots of different birds & insects,found wolf tracks, eagles nest and loads more!
if i find the time i may write page bout it, in meanwhile jus ask if u'd ike more details! (or tell me 2 shut up!)

I'd like to know how it went

im thinkin bout setting up a web site/page bout it coz i got loadsa fotos, if i get round 2 it i;'ll giv u the adress.
in the meanwhile.....
the worst parts (& there werent many) were trying to understand the many airport checks (customs, passports, etc) & findin my way round kiev on me lonesome. but it turned out 2 b pretty straight forwards (thankfully!)
team met up @ mcdonalds (of all places!) @ the station & we got an overnight train down to mykoliav (sp?) in the south, wich was cool! (tho bit bumpy!)
minibus we had was crap on the sandy tracks we had 2 go along 2 get to the base. kept gettin stuck & we all hadda get out & push!
base camp was nice summer house in small 'village' (ie scatterin of houses). we ate outside as was soooo hot & there was outside loo (= hole) & shower (dodgy when the wind blew @ the curtains round it!)
beach was only bout 15 min walk away & water was lurvely (tho full of jellyfish! - not stingin 1s tho, thank God!)

sounds like it went quite well

yeah it was great! what was really good was we were the first ever team to do research of this kind in the area! it felt good being the first ones to use the new facilities provided for/by the group & setting everything up. hopefully they'll run this project for a good few years at least & we were there at the start!

hes my boyfriend & has been 4 the past yr, or rather just over a year now
soz 4 ne confusion we caused! we r nice people, honest (well, im a nice person, dunno if that description wud b used 4 him by ne of my mates tho!)

I thought that was how it was, I didn't want to create bad situations
