In fact it was going to close this coming winter but they moved it back a year.

Well, it's a bit like me suddenly walking out into the workshop nd demanding that everyone stop what they are doing because I need to let them know we are going to *take a vehicle off the road for maintenance and it might not go back for 36 hours because we cant get the parts until the morning*.

If you headline it right and report it inaccurately enough, it sounds like news when in fact it's just the way things work sometimes.

Certainly not. I might be old but I am not THAT old. I have had one building destroyed (which included a mosque - minus a minarat) but that was a prison and the land just became too valuable. They moved it. The rest are still standing.
