On Saturday, I went to my great-aunt's 75th birthday party in Birmingham. Everyone there (with the exception of me + my dad) spoke in a Birmingham accent. I met all of my 2nd cousins (plus some new ones who had been born since last time I saw the whole family) and all my my 1st cousins once removed (ie. my dad's 1st cousins). It was really fun! First we had a really nice meal in a Beefeater + then we went to my great-aunt's house for cake + wine (which was rather refined, but then she isn't the sort of person to drink tones of lager). Then my cousins played some music + they all tried to get me to play the piano, but I avoided it (well, dad avoided it for me by saying it was time to go home 'cos we live quite a long way from Birmingham).

Because I didn't have any of my music with me + it's so embarrasing playing in front of my relatives.
