I don't have to go to work...because of SNOW. I mean, there's a lot of it out there, but...geez. Snow. Weird.

Yes, all we get in London is rain, rain and more b... rain!
Oh sorry I have to define rain for any people that have not lived in the UK long enough. We don't mean the tropical or stormy kind of rain (you know the one that you think someone opened the taps and there is really lots of water coming down). Most of the times it is that really stupid kind of drizzle that is not good enough (in my opinion) to be classified as real rain (i.e. you wouldn't think of opening an umbrella for it) but it is still very annoying and after a while you DO get wet!
I wish we could get some snow this year for a change and maybe have White Christmas

Yes, well, apparently here in Chicago, 2 feet of snow wasn't enough so the gods are blessing us with another 5 inches. Do you think I get to go home early??? NO. Do I get a snow day??? NO.
