Actual conversation I had yesterday:

Him: "Hey, you're the guy doing the website, aren't you?"

Me: "Yes, I am."

Him: "Are you gonna use HTML?"

Me: (Refraining from looking shocked and saying, "Gosh, do you think that would be a good idea?") "Um, yeah. Gotta go."

So are you?

I was thinking of construction paper cutouts, but I'm not as steady with scissors as I once was.

I thought you said you were in an office. Real offices are near copy rooms, and real copy rooms have paper cutters.

Brilliantly dangerous things. Really marvelous for cutting intricate designs with, because they won't do it. Maybe you could do it that way.

Yeah, if I got paid hourly, that'd be the way to go, but I'm on salary.

How about paper dolls with macaroni on them? That'd be...er, smelly.

Better yet, how about ragdolls with macaroni *in* them? That'd be pretty damn smelly. Course you'd have to cook the macaroni, or they wouldn't be very pleasant dolls. And you'd have to make sure you kept the doll damp at all times, so the macaroni wouldn't get, you know, all hard and brown and yich, but... well it could work, 's all I'm saying.

And what are you suggesting--that I take these dolls and throw them at people or something?

Being cute? Yes. However, I would like to point out that the world would be a much more worthwhile place if people used words like "splud" far more often.

I used voo doo for my webpage. It isn't working right now, so I've drawn on the screen with crayon...you can hardly tell the difference!!
