Remember that bit about the foreman trying to convince the junior accountant that the Disaster Area stuntship needed a tele... porting... sys... you know, some of us have got to get a life, and most of the people to whom that applies are me.

Well, me too. I had a life once. It ran away and was run over by a metaphor of discontent.

...and prone to collapse. Even the best made carboard boxes end up spilling your CDs all over the place.

That's what CD wallets are for! Marvelous things. You *think* you'll miss the jewel cases, but trust me, after you move three boxes of mostly plastic mixed with the occasional CD, a convenient little case that holds just the CDs with the liner notes is going to look darn appealing

Trouble is, a CD wallet thingy makes it so hard to leave your CDs scattered casually around the house. I just don't think I could handle the level of organisation that owning such a trinket would force upon me.
Do I get bonus points for inappropriate use of the word "trinket"?

Erm, I've got over 600 CDs, in Jewel Boxes, Digi Packs and many other weird forms of packaging, there is no way I'd ever throw away the cases. That's like throwing away the sleaves on vinyl records. The artwork can make or break the music sometimes, it certainly makes it worth more

Although I do own one CD Wallet, but that's just for taking a few CDs on Holiday. I think I just ranted a bit I apologise.

If I were you or you were me or something, you (or I) would be in a permanent state of rant. That sentence (if I can be allowed such a loose description) doesn't make any sense, does it? I'll go away and think about what it is I'm trying to say and come back again later.

Or, you could have your car robbed and lose all but 10 cd's whose cases were stolen. It worked for me.
