Just a few things happening today. Prince Hendrik of Denmark got married. I am a soft one for weddings, and watched a bit this afternoon. He looked about 16, poor lad, and was crying when the first bars of Handel's "Zadock the Priest" started up. There have been loads of Royal Weddings lately, remember the downpour in Madrid?
Formula 1 - Racing at Hockenheim (just over the river from us) this weekend. I couldn't care less, quite honestly.
They've just closed the Gothard tunnel. Probably too many people queueing up to go through. They'll have to go over the top now - lucky them, it's one of the loveliest drives in Europe.

Didn't his brother get married this year?
Did poor ol' Hendrik have to wait?
As for Hockenheim... phoey! Formula 1 is very boring, I don't care what anyone says. Any sport dominated by one team/personality has me voting with my feet (as well as there are no tasty drivers for me to over)
How's your weather?

H will be glued to it, but I lost interest in the Grand Prix when ITV took over broadcasting it and adverts got in the way of the action.

I think I got things wrong. It seems it was a repeat of the wedding last month. Now there's sad for you, a station that repeats not just the highlights, but the whole wedding, and doesn't even blot out the "live" in the corner.
Anyway, Margaret is a jolly old thing and must be a great mother-in-law. I'm a great fan of hers.

I see what you mean - he does look about 16. How old is he?
