Oh, btw I must share this with you - Simon Hoggart described the Tory Leadership 'race' as 'The unleadable in search of the unelectable'. Very good I thought...

I prefer to think of it as the unhopeful in pursuit of the inadvisable. Still, better Howard than Clarke, I've decided.

If only the electorate agreed with you. Howard has a dreadful achilles heel which is that interview with paxman in which he looked like a dreadful, shifty b*st*rd who was deliberately shaping up to sh*t on someones career, and indeed life. Which he consequently did.
That allied with his previous stance on immigration which would have seen his own parents disbarred from entering the country and a description by Stephen Tumin as the the most right wing Home secretary he's ever worked with all makwe him a rather unnatractive prospet in the 21st century.

Charles kennedy was really good at conference on Saturday pointing out exactly Mr Howard's record on Scotland. Whoops!!! Can the Tories do any worse than '97 up here?

Are you talking about politics again?
I have to point out that your typing is getting very crap BS. I could barely understand your journal. I think you're saying that you shagged pointy spikey while pursuing short witches in young hats. And it was all very trivial.
I am now off the sofa, but still very pants, so not going into work tomorrow. I'm still bloody knackered.

>I have to point out that your typing is getting very crap BS<
Yup, point taken. and all that. No excuses, it's a mess.
>I think you're saying that you shagged pointy spikey<
Hmm, a case of your imagination running away with you there, I think. Possibly even wishful thinking, maybe?
>And it was all very trivial.<
Point taken. I promise from now on that my journal will only be used to highlight the social difficulties of those living in inner cities, the problems and potential solutions of poverty in the third world, highlighting those nations who have refused to sign to the International Agreement on the Rights of the Child and the leadership problems of the Tory Party.
Yeah, right, and monkeys might fly outta my butt!
Sorry to hear you are still feeling crap and obviously are a bit low. Have a loo brush and I hope you feel better soon.

The trivial was to do with pursuits, not really social comment. But you must admit, it was pretty trivial. and less of the quoting back my own comments to me. I do have the ability to remember what I say you know.
I must be ill, I'm still at home.

Well, it's a bit hard to avoid talking about politics at the minute Mina- it's the best reason to take the piss out of me these two have had in months- let them have their fun
Err, well they're only got one Scottish seat left to lose DD, so they can't do much worse, which is heartening, in a way.

Now, I didn't claim it was an excuse- I said quite freely that it's a genuine *reason* One of many, I'll grant you.

Oh, I don't know. I'm kind of having a happy day today so taking the p*ss is low on my list of priorities.
Do you think I'm ill? Is it the sleep deprivation? Will I get better?

Clearly moping. Haven't even got the energy to top yourself. Unless of course you're communicating from behind the grave, with h2g2 as your chosen method of contact.

I hope I'd have something more enlightening to say than stealing Ben's malapropisms and make comments about David Beckhams sex life if i was to communicate from beyond the grave...
Everybody likes a good mope occasionally. ;-#)
