h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Awake at 7.30 am despite being up 'til 3.30 am. Seems I need less and less sleep as the years go by. Understandably I was feeling a bit jaded this morning so didn't do the ironing whilst listening to the minibus - very unusual occurance. Will have to do it tomorrow.

Raining much of the morning so I just drank tea and lurked around ML for a bit. The poster who was chasing me all last Sunday is there again but I'm sitting on my hands and not joining any threads he's in. Weather improved in afternoon so I cut lawn and started trimming hedges. I really need some new steps as the ones I have aren't safe anymore and if Eric is watching me he won't be very pleased about me using them. Did some general tidying around the garden and tried to photograph the robin that was hanging around all afternoon but I think he is camera shy because he would sit perfectly still almost next to me except when I had a camera in my hand.

Watched peregrine-cam for a while - eggs must hatch soon. There are 2 badgers on the badger-cam right now so I'm going to watch them a while before finishing this.

When I was chatting with Dagesh last night he asked me to read Psalm 88 and I tried earlier. I found it difficult and will have to try again when I am fresher and can concentrate more. Also better if I use my reading glasses.

No cigarettes for 3 days by the time I go to bed tonight.
