Prokofiev must have been crazy!!

I'm doing the Prokofiev cello sonata, and boy is it kickin' my butt!! I just started it yesterday, and I've got a lot done, and I was feelin' all good about myself until I looked at the tempo marking for most of the first movement.... it goes twice as fast as I was playing it!! It's absolutely insane!! But, I'm excited! I've been needing something challenging lately.
I took a 20th century class this last school semester, and I took the final test for the class yesterday, and it was horrible! Man, analyzing atonal music is not my idea of fun. I like learning about it and how composers worked out everything, but sitting there three hours trying to figure out prime forms and which form of the tone row Webern used sucked!! I don't know. Maybe it was just because it was a test, and I don't like tests. Hmm... Oh well. It's done.
