What on earth am I doing
aGuyCalledPaff Posted Jan 17, 2008
>>Bambi on a plane<< There are ferries . A 10 and a half hour crossing in the winter, but 3 and a half hours in the summer on the 'vomit comet'.
Signed today. Got the keys. Taking next week off work. Removals booked for Wednesday. Ferry on Friday. Hotel Friday night. New house on Saturday. (Mostly the missus's organising. She don't hang about.)

She don't hang about?? Neither do you
Good luck with everything, and if you ever want to come back to Devon for a break give me a shout.

I was just thinking that you move quickly.
Shall I do something major life-changing?
Yes.
Ten minutes later, all done!

Hello again folks. Made it! A bit more settled now, and the computer is plugged in and on a desk now (rather than under a pile of wires and paper).
When my head has stopped spinning from the move I'll probably find myself spewing out a batch of journal entries on the subject (and a PR entry, and something for ThePost, most likely).
Normal service will be resumed shortly. "Just as soon as we are sure what is normal anyway. Thank you."

I'll second that, been dying to know how things are going with the move.
Do you still need a tractor to mow the lawn? How is the dog taking it?

It's all going OK here, just a bit of a head-spinning time. Thanks for staying tuned. There's no lawn to mow (smallest garden I've had since, erm, 1994 when I had _no_ garden).
I appear to have started another journal on the subject: F2089434?thread=5224259
