What's going on here then?
It came to my attention this evening that I hadn't posted on hootoo for 2 weeks. Yes, OK, I've been doing some <./>photographers</.> type stuff, and I've been on holiday for a week, but I've just not really felt the _need_ to even have a look at hootoo.
I popped in today and found that my lead-balloon of an entry in PR had got a bunch of comments on it that were 5 days old... I got all excited, replied (in a suitably excited fashion), then put my head in my hands and thought "why am I here?"
Now, I came here to write some entries. But I unsubscribed from PR about 9 months ago, and haven't written anything for that long either. I wrote some AWW stuff last year, even some 'poetry', and even had an idea of a bit of fiction I was going to try out. I've even got a bunch of journal entries that I wrote offline that I can't be bothered to cut-n-paste into here.
So, what's going on here then? Am I just finding a new place to sit on the see-saw? (And can I be bothered right now to explain the see-saw analogy?) Or am I about to get off the see-saw? (And doesn't the word see-saw look odd?)
Dear oh dear, I should get some sleep.

It goes like that sometimes, Paff. Some weeks you can write three superb Entries in a week, some weeks all you seem to do is unsubscribe from conversations that don't interest you anymore. I wouldn't worry about it too much; we all lose inspiration at times, and at others everything just sort of clicks. I wouldn't be too down about your last Entry; I got a relative mauling a couple of months ago over something I thought I'd done quite well, but it doesn't mean I'm a bad writer or have nothing to say anymore.
There's enough space here for you to do pretty much anything you want; as long as you're somewhere on the see-saw (yes, it does look odd), you're doing something right.

I haven't written a Guide Entry since June. I didn't realise it was that long ago.
And where have all my Guide Entries gone from U290???

Very odd - they appear if you go to <./>MA290?show=25&type=2</.>...

I can see them straight on your PS. Blimey, you're prolific. If I wasn't already depressed about my lack of entry writing, that little lot would make me feel really down. It's a good job my glass is already half empty this week.

I can only see back to March 2006 - I've had that space since 2002! There should be 100s on there! Well, maybe not that many, but nearly all of the unedited versions of my edited entries should be on there, and I've written over 70.
