h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just for your interest, the reason I put things into the Edited Guide (withouit being paid) is that it's nearly all stuff that I want to remember, so that I can use it in my teaching. My Entries contain stuff (i.e. factoids etc) that are not easy to find in textbooks. I put it into the public domain in case it might be of use/interest to other teachers/students. I don't write for any creative reasons. The reason I put it through PR is that other Researchers often know additional stuff that I can incorporate. Then, when anything new crops up concerning stuff I've written about, I can add it to the conversation threads at the end where I can find it. i.e. I use it as a personal online filing system that can be accessed by other people.
