Fox cubs

Just saw two fox cubs playing in the garden. I kept hearing this funny noise like, "woo, woo, woo, woo" repeated, like a baby bark sound, hard to explain. They were so funny and playful together.
I think foxes, to look at are the wonderful creatures. Those enormous ears and the 'brush' that kind of hangs down so low..and is just so big. And the sharpness of their big eyes.
Brilliant.
At least this is a more cheerful journal entry

Yeah I reckon they love it..but I think the bowl of water I keep full at the top of the garden really does it. I'm not going in for feeding them..that's their business..but I can't bear to think of them dying of thirst..and we have had a lot of dry weather in the last year..plus it keeps them away from mucking up the pond too much.
