I had a post removed because I mention the name of a drug and vodka in a sentance.

When I was in a NHS psychiatric hospital...and getting better..they let me out to the pub. If you are sensible it *isn't* dangerous as the mods told me..Are they now expert pharmacologists? They know more than staff in a psychiatric hospital?

They actually wrote to you, not just the generic email? Crikey.

The only problem I have with enjoying Stoked Vodka (the only Hemp-infused vodka in North America -- made right here in Alberta) is remembering to give my daughter her Dapsone in the morning.

Seriously, I understand your beef, but 'neuro-normals' who have never had to deal with it really don't have any idea, and I suspect the mods are dealing for the neuro-normals.

Wouldn't want to upset the boat by talking about the real world.

I have a friend who's on methadone and drinks vodka* and even takes other drugs too including ones that come from the doctor

*not hemp infused though

Most people I know who take psych meds also drink. Not sure if it's always VODKA though.

Now I'm just trying to decide which is the best smiley for being high. We have a whole plethora of them...

What I don't understand is that if you honestly describe something you do...you are *condoning* such behaviour.

All you are doing is saying, 'I do this'. If someone is worried about you, they would just check with you maybe..and you could explain why you do such and such.

It's so hard to know with them, when you judge by your real life standards.

I couldn't say 'gay' on my ps in a playful way..like most gay people do IME..but I can show a 1970s beeb music show showing women dancing fairly provocatively..including close-ups of certain areas.

Seriously, seriously: if the mods are actually humans rather than little cyber agents, they're just following a script, an algorithm: I expect they have a strict list of what must be yikesed, and if they don't stick to it, they'll be flipping burgers (or whatever the British equivalent is of extremely low paying dead-end employment).

There's a Manager/Supervisor somewhere who is the root of the problem.

But what really angers me is that for the last 10 days or so I've been on the edge of psychosis..and I have to take these bloody tablets when that happens. And I detest the side-effects.

Things are much better now..I'm sleeping and eating a bit more normally.

(Why I didn't I stay longer in the garden? Maybe because the swifts are swooping everywhere...but I seem to prefer this. Right off with computer and back into garden..( )

Of course just mentioning something doesn't mean condoning it The moderation has been ridiculous for quite a while now It seems posts get yikes only according to what words appear in them, and not the overall meaning.

Hi mods and Eds. Sorry if I've got a bit cross with you. I really do appreciate all you do. But life ain't easy for me either.

I know it sounds a bit like I'm suddenly sucking up to you because I got in a panic earlier about being banned..when it was just probably to do with Aerian, probably I am But I do see both sides when I'm not getting stroppy.

I'm certainly going to be pushing for a lightening in the way we moderate the site, on the new hootoo, and I think everyone involved with that already agrees the current moderation has just been getting very silly as time has gone on.
The bbc I think, has not only to include its concernes over being sued for liable, and suchlike, but then be even more* cautious as it has to worry about bad publicity for the BBC as a whoel which could come out of things appearing, which on another site, not connected with the BBC just wouldn't raise an eyebrow....

I think the mods all need to lighten up.
Trust me... it won't be anything like this bad with moderation on the new site... not if I've anything to do with it anyhow

I rather sarcastically posted a list of 3 different drugs, each in a separate post. 1 of which was a fatal interaction, inviting the mods to remove the one that was fatal. Instead they removed them all.
