...whatever those are. I signed up for NationStates, just out of curiosity, to see what would happen if Corrupt ran a country. Here's a sample:
"The Rogue Nation of Melodan is a small, devout nation, remarkable for its burgeoning roki population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 14 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up."
Um... can 'devout' and 'cynical' be used that closely together?

Looks interesting. I'll give this a try.

Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases."
"Crime is a major problem. Cabinia's national animal is the lemming and its currency is the herpe."
