I am at a bit of a loss as to decide whether to try to make my guide entries funny and witty, or just informative. I'm always being told I'm a talented writer but I have trouble making things sound believable. Please help!
Another thing I need help with is finding my way around h2g2. I am currently looking for the writing workshops but I cannot find it. I'll update this journal if I do, but I could use some directions!

Hi adamsfan, It's nice to see you're taking such an interest in h2g2.
There are different forums for different types of writing. You might find Writing-Beginners a good place to start.
That link mainly tells you about writing factual Entries for the Edited Guide. There is also the <./>Underguide</.> which selects its Entries from Writing-Alternative and not forgetting <./>ThePost</.>
When you decide what you'd like to write about, and whether it's going to be fact or fiction, you can choose the appropiate writing forum.
I hope I have not confused you, if you need any more help, give me a shout.
Emmily
