So I shall post my 27 post:
The truth is that many things were going on there.
At one level, I posted a required post. That is not a very nice fact. At another level, I was outside the box on my 25 post and I liked the results well enough that followed that idea further. On 25 I used the titles of Beatle songs to express some thoughts. In 26 I paraphrased the lyrics if a song called “Monday, Monday.” Ostensibly they were both light-hearted commentaries. At some other level, Mondays are icons of the emotional blues.

At yet another level, I was feeling devoid of thoughts to express in this venue. I was happy to realize that the lack of feedback had such a profound effect on my writing. Ostensibly Peanut is lurking and Amy indicates she has faithfully visited each post. I sincerely admire both people and do not presume to expect more of them.

It is the social interaction that is proving more profound than I could have previously recognized. So the truth is that at some level, I am crying because of this effort. But that would not be the whole truth. My mood is also affected by a friend suffering from drug problems. Then a third person is getting sucked into the emotional maelstrom. Now I find myself needing to be strong enough let them go but still loving them. So sad.

Well, that said I haven't been a very attentive friend over the last couple of weeks.
On the other hand, I am unlikely to offer comments on people's writing which is what I think you are after.
This site is very quite in terms of active researchers who post stuff

Letting go is a difficult thing to do, sad and confusing, I'm sorry that you are going through this but sometimes there is no alternative course of action to take

I hope your friends will be able to address the issues in their lives but it can only come from them when they are ready
