A Journal about writing The Prize:
Introduction, A87776059
The Prize, Section 1 – A Sort of Sordid History, A87776789
The Prize, Section 2 – A Not So Sordid History, A87776798
Again I tacked on a new segment, “Power” to Section 2.
This was a complicated bit of history to document.
I was happy I simplified it as well as I did, but it needs much more work. Perhaps it is off track to some degree. Perhaps not, I think that one of the greatest developments of all time was the electric power distribution system. Although the Nobel Committee considered a prize, it was never awarded. In hindsight, Westinghouse, Tesla, and Stanley should have been honored for the March 20, 1886 first.
When some things go wrong, they all seem to go wrong.
I hold on to the knowledge that tomorrow will be different,
and the hope that it will be better, not worse. [smiles]
Looks like the day beckons.
