Siayte - muse of creative chocolate uses

I asked one of my friends to give me the definition of the speed of dark. He is a very witty, intelligent, and yet a slightly twisted person and I enjoy him a great deal. He sent me his answer, which I am placing in my journal with his permission of course.
A challenge I see....Well to begin with, Dark is the absence of light....if you're measuring how fast dark happens...then you would have to use the speed of light moving away from you, which just so happens to be the same as the basic speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second. On the other hand, if you're measuring the speed of static dark...or the speed at which light ISN'T moving...then it would have to be 0 miles per second. One other thing to consider, a negative number for the speed of light indicates an event horizon of a black hole...where time and mass converge. If you discover how to do this..let me know, as time travel is possible when this happens.
