Well, just for one day before the weekend - and Friday is a short day for me: I work 8.30 to 5 Monday to Thursday and finish at 4 on Fridays.
Even with the accumulated post and emails from the last couple of days, I managed to finish most of what I needed to do by lunchtime. Still, my boss will be back from her hols (China - lucky thing!) next week, so there may be more work then. If not, I think I'll talk to her about how we can deal with these quiet periods in the office - last year they didn't seem to go on for so long, probably because I was learning the job so everything took longer. I also did quite a lot of work on the website which can now be updated really quickly, and I produced a PowerPoint presentation for her to take when she goes to give talks to schools.
Anyway, at going-home time it was cold and raining - yeuch! Not good for biking home, so I called in at the Arts Picturehouse on the way, bought a ticket for Sunday ("Keys of the House"), had a coffee and read the paper.
Came home, waited for the rain to stop a bit and walked down to the supermarket to stock up on fruit and other basics for the week. As I don't have a car, I have to do my weekend shopping in two trips - luckily *sda is only 5 minutes away!
Omelette and salad for supper - I'm a rubbish cook and don't enjoy doing it, but I do make a great omelette, though I say it myself!

Oh Annie, you and me both when it comes to cooking. Of course we are hopelessly outnumbered in ML. But eggs we can tame.
I am sick and tired of the cold and the wet, though here in the country trees sport that joyful new green, it cheers one up. Of course the grass grows and we could live on dandelions.
Global warming can't come too soon for me.
