h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So Mittinz has well settled into the parental units home. She is spoilt rotten and hsa them wrapped round her little paws. Me too - I haven't been home so often since my first year at Uni!

She's a beautiful little tortie with little white mittens on her front paws and long white stockings on her rear paws - and a lovely white bib. She spoils it with a half-white muzzle which makes her look like she has a grubby nose!

Meanwhile I seem to have climed out of the latest depression and am getting on quite well with the thesis. I wasn't on-line at all for the last two months or so - this included checking e-mail, so I've missed an awful lot of what was going on in the real (and virtual) world. But now I'm back and kicking bottom.

In this time it seems that my dear AR1 has learned to walk again (although she seems to be beratiung herself for getting in and out of her chair like an old woman - but if it works keep it up I say.)

Also working part time as a temp secretary and working on my thesis has improved my typing no end!

Anyhow, back to thesis / lurking hootoo.

What a lovely name even if she has a dirty nose!!.

I have two wishes now. In my next life . the first one would be to be a kitten in your home. the second one is to be a dog in my carer's home.
Both are spoilt wrotten and loved to bits. what bliss.!!

So pleased to hear that you have started writing again. I am having my study de moulded, repainted and am busily trying to get all my many files on many interests into some semblance of indexed order!!. Then I hope that inspiration will take over and dear Barnabas Shaw will spring from the decade in which I have stuck him and live his rich life to the full. After that , hopefully an account of the last two/three years when K. and I have experienced so many ups and downs with overcoming this illness. I must admit that Cognitive Behaviour Therapy appears to me to be quite the best answer to problems of overcoming depressions and lack of ego.

Gets worse my dearest AR1...

My folks went on holiday again two weeks ago. When I took the kitten to the cat prison we got her for, we discovered her mummy was pregnant again (she slipped out of an open bathroom window and had a bit of fun with a local white tom)

She's now had her kittens - four beautiful black and white tabby's. One of which is going to my sister and another of which is going to my mother. their excuse is that they don't have a kitten of thier own - Mittinz being mine.

Now - what are the odds of her ever living with me? Nil...zilch....zip and zero. In that order!

I miss you so much. And tonight just thought I wanted to chat with you. It is going to be Christmas and you are so special.

I am horrified at how easily cats get [pregnant. Don't you believe in spaying them? Perhaps you think it is a cruel thing to do, but you would far more chance of getting your kitten to yourself.

How are your friends [ Dr. Munchkin, Toccato and of course my favourite Psychochick !!

I had not realised that he had come back from New Aealand. I wonder why.

How are your feeling? Have you ever thought of taking vitamin B. I have masses of it every day, and if I do not that I really do suffer from depression. I have been taking it for years!!

One of the chaps that I care for here lost his wife on Wednesday night. She was a real terror, adn really had made his life hell - but in some silly way he still loved her although he had managed to steel himself for a divorce - mostly so that he could keep their child. But it has been a very worrying and emotional time.

I find that I can get tired so easily and quickly.

I went swimming on Saturday. Legs worked wonderfully - but I could not get my arms out of the watrer!.
Really!!

Mittenz hwas spayed a couple of months ago and Koko will follow in her footsteps. There is NO reseaon NOT to spay pet cats - there are so many stray unspayed cats in this world that there will never be a shortage of kittens in this world. It may seem to be a cruel thing to do, but less so than continual pregnancies. And I was most jealous of Mittinz and offered to take her place when she went off to get done - but my Mum thought that might scare the vet!

Will chat longer over the holiday weekend - my new obsession is with Most Haunted and it's just started!

Zantic ; No matter how long it is between chats AR1 - I NEVER forget you and the inspiration you give me and the others on this site. Much love and s over the festvie bit to you and to K aswell. Keep up with the swimming- though I'm afraid you may just have to settle for a stately breast stroke from now on!

No news for ages. How are you and how is the thesis.?

Just a word to say I think with such pleasure of the only time I have met you - in Hyde Park at the summer meet all those years ago. I am 78 on Tuesday the 23rd May. If I cannot see you this year will you PLEASE come to my 80th birthday pary Real Life!!
that is providing I reach that venerable age.

I am busy cooking for 26 guests whom I have invited for lunch tomorrow!!. I really am dotty!!.

I'll give you the menu when I have finished it!!.
