Man vs Horse

For some reason I have put my name down for the Brecon Beacons Man vs Horse marathon, an annual event where a couple of hundred people try and beat several horses over a 22 mile course, running or cycling.
Went to the gym and ran 1500 metres on the treadmill last week - nearly threw up! Shall have to start looking for training programmes...

It's a tough 22 miles. Get some cross country running in and follow a training programme aimed at a marathon.
There is a relay option for teams of three people (I know a team with a spare place).

I did all 22 miles of the f****r and can safely say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I severly doubt whether I'll do it again.
