h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, been to London for a job interview today, or rather an interview with an agency to see what jobs they'd like to put me forward for. The woman interviewing me had a degree in Norse, so being in awe of anyone with compish leanings sent me to the e-commerce department - who knew that since my degree is in Politics and Philosophy I don't really cut it. Moved on to the Public Sector people, which seems to fit more, but they don't have many jobs yet. Still, got to see an old friend who works at the agency.

Written a short guide entry to see if I know what I'm doing, and had it parsed for obvious errors by Æendr, so we shall see if it generates any activity. New housemates are gradually drifting in. Moved a small party from Saturday to Friday to fit in with other plans, then found that someone I thought could only come on Saturday could make it on Friday, but so could someone else that they're not speaking to. Oops, I think I've managed only to offend one of them. Heaven's sake, there are so many other days...

Well, you - of course - will meet a subset of the people who aren't speaking... tomorrow is getting gradually more crowded....
