so, just found out that an aunt that had her foot and part of her leg off two weeks ago has had to have some more off this weekend.
it hits hard when i consider that 7 years ago i had the option to lose one of my feet following an accident. i'd already had 18 months of operations and was given the choice of one more op or my foot been taken off.
when you are sat there looking at two healthy feet, it's hard to say "get rid of it", but to be 100% honest, i wish i had!
i've had 8 years of pain and discomfort. should i had it removed, i'd have a great deal more mobility than i have now.which to be frank, aint a great deal. standing still is bad enough, but trying to walk any distance is a real struggle.
i may tell more about this at another stage.
