h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The new shed should be up in two weeks. It'll be 12'X12'. I'll paint it to match the house this summer. Before it arrives, I'll have to prepare a compacted crushed rock extension to the existing concrete pad. The existing shed should go away this weekend. We advertized it on FreeCycle, and within half an hour had more than a dozen people offer to carry it off for us.

I'll be working extra hours this Spring/Summer, all on the night shift. The work is fun, though. I can wear comfortable clothes and take an MP3 player. There will even be some travel.

The greyhounds have developed an interesting habit lately. They are rooting up my golden bamboo (with their snouts, not their paws). Something is really attractive to them, so I suppose I should pick up some chicken wire (they call it "poultry netting" now) so I can protect the soil there.

The renters that moved in across the street are out and about now that the weather is improving. They got a puppy, but they don't seem to know anything about having a dog.
