Several years from now, add to this page http://www.h2g2.com/A423695 a thread titled Epilogue with the following post:
It is not until years later that Lord M.K* discovers that the real jewels were replaced by the fake jewels which were intended to foil theft. His fortune nearly gone following bad investments in Aunt Jemima syrup and silk ropes among others, Lord M.K* resorts to pawning off jewels, only to learn that what are in his possession are the fake jewels. Petunia hears of the demise of the Lord's fortune and sends a postcard to the Lord. The statute of limitations for prosecution has passed, and extradition is unlikely, so Petunia feels safe in communicating with the Lord. The postcard reads as follows.
Dear Lord M.K*
Sorry about the jewels, well not really, but I did not foresee that you would lose your fortune. You are most welcome to come and stay with me here http://www.h2g2.com/A427303. I still have lots of money. NexusSeven took up with an attractive young thing some time ago, which was okay with me. Bring swimming trunks and silk ropes, and some of that lovely cologne you used to wear.

For the Foxy Manor record, I didn't see your second response, where you put me out of your room, before I posted my response to your first response in which you were lying back on the bed. Although I probably would have just kicked open the door, anyway, and got a little tying in before you tossed me out.
So, let me know when you are ready to be sprung from your ivory tower, so to speak.
