For the joy of Mom and Dad, and possibly for some purpose of his own, a new baby is born: Francesco, my first son.
It is simply GREAT to have a son, and I didn't miss a single bit of the birth; the most amazing thing has been the way in which
Francesco, after being pulled off the mother's belly (it was a cesarian section), started breathing in a perfectly quiet and normal way, as if
he had done it thousands of times.
He's a healthy child, and the mother is fine as well; he is now almost a kilogram heavier than at the moment of his birth. I am so glad of
this all that I couldn't find the right words, so please welcome Francesco with a great applause:
