Hunter, who is rarely on H2G2 anymore.

I just got a Nintendo GameCube. Let me tell you, after haveing an original NES system as my only consol system for upwards of ten years this can only be described as a quantum leap in gaming for me. I'm so happy!!!

smiley - ghost Whatever you do, do not rent Luigi's Mansion. They do not have neat anti-ghost weapons in the game, really!
The Poltergust 3000 is Not a good weapon to use on smiley - ghost. smiley - whistle

I've played Luigi's mansion. It's a lot of fun, but in the same way that quake is fun... It isn't real. smiley - biggrin

smiley - ghost I was thinking of introducing the Poltergust 9000;
It sucks up elements like fire, water, ect. and uses them. Problem is, it may suck up smiley - ghost.
A little element of danger there....smiley - biggrin

Hey, do either of you have Smash Bros. Melee?

I was playing it round a friends' house - it's a riot! (Literally).

I also played Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Leader, Pikmin and Wave Race. I have already pre-ordered my PAL GC and will be saving all of next week's pay to purchase it! I think I'll get Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Leader and Tony Hawke's 3 at launch. Mmm!

I've got melee, it's proabaly the game I play the most. I also have Rouge leader, but for me, that game is like playin a security officer in star trek. I wlak onto the screen for a bit, and BAM! I'm dead.

Hehe. I had a go on the first couple of levels of RL, and remembered why I sold its N64 predecessor - however I've heard it gets much better later on. And of course the graphics are fantastic, which is a bonus when it's the Star Wars Universe!

I found the GC analogue stick to be much more sensitive than the N64's, which was especially noticiable when comparing Super Smash Bros with Melee.

I haven't played enough N64 to know about control sticks on both systems.
