The Idea of my guild is not to be mean, but rather to do whatever it is you do on h2g2 with "the Cynic" pinned to your name. You are a mean person, john the gurudener, And I wish you'd stop sending me angry letters.

I'm not really a mean person, and I'm sorry if my letters seemed angry. I didn't mean them to be; it's just the way I write.
The thing that made me a little worried is that it is against the h2g2 rules to just post things willy-nilly in other people's conversations, and I don't want anybody to get into trouble for doing it.
I know that you just want to have fun with some new friends, but the way you described the Cynics Guild might make some people believe that you want them to misbehave. I know that probably isn't what you had in mind, but sometimes we have to be a little careful about such things.
Anyway I hope this clears up the misunderstanding, and that you no longer think I'm a mean person.
