the caterpillar laughed at the others
who age so badly
Grew wings and flew straight into the sun
which hangs from the ceiling of this compact world
With singed antenna and withered wings he fell
back down to earth again
snug inside his old cocoon
he regrouped and licked his wounds
dreamed a dream which soon came true
Who'd of thought he'd change back to
a child again still eating leaves
an ugly bug but still happy.
